No, the two are unrelated, although this was not always the case. Originally, the airfield was part of the base, however, after the cuts to CFB North Bay, the airfield ownership reverted to the City of North Bay. The two are geographically close, however, there are no CFB North Bay opperations taking place at the airfield which now operates solely as a civilian airfield.
