[edit] Re the RfA
Sorry about that. I hope you see the RfA as more encouraging than discouraging. The criticisms from everybody in the RfA were merely the normal, minor, relatively harmless errors such as those that the vast majority of us made when we had only been here a few weeks/months. As far as I know, you're not going around calling people idiots or acting like you own an article or refusing to listen to criticism or putting a bunch of inappropriate speedy tags on articles, or anything else that would be a serious concern re making you an admin.
Wikipedia is big. I've been here over a year and I'm definitely still learning stuff. Besides admin coaching, ways to learn about how Wikipedia works are to hang around at the Village pump, the help desk, reading the RfA's, AfD's, Wikipedia:policies and guidelines, the administrator's noticeboard, arbitration committee decisions, etc., and learning by just doing stuff and being open to criticism.
I hope you'll feel free at any time to post questions on my talk page. I don't have all the answers, but I like getting talk page messages and might be able to help you out with some things. Best of luck. Happy Solstice. --Coppertwig (talk) 07:42, 22 December 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Broken wrist
Wow! You broke your wrist too, eh? How'd that happen? (You thought you could escape that question by going online, huh?) :) I was installing cat5e cable in a ceiling and my ladder tipped over. Sarsaparilla (talk) 18:05, 23 December 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Your VandalProof Application
Thank you for your interest in VandalProof, Cf38. As you may know, VP is a very powerful program, and in fact the just released 1.3 version has even more power. Because of this we must uphold strict protocols before approving a new applicant. Regretfully, I have chosen to decline your application at this time. Please note it is nothing personal by any means, and we certainly welcome you to apply again soon. Thank again for your interest in VandalProof. βcommand 02:12, 31 December 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Admin Coaching
I have seen that you wish to be an admin, and I would like to coach you. If you wish to have me as your coach, please go here and fill it out. If you do not want me as your coach, please reply with that as a note. Dreamafter ⇔ 15:02, 2 January 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Orphaned non-free image (Image:Cf38-navbar.jpg)
Thanks for uploading Image:Cf38-navbar.jpg, however copyrighted images that are recreated, still belongs to the original owner. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. « ₣ullMetal ₣alcon » 03:56, 3 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Annotated Bibliography of Fly Fishing Nominated For Deletion
I'd like to bring to your attention that the article Annotated Bibliography of Fly Fishing has been nominated for deletion. I believe this article is useful and should stay a part of Wikipedia. There are literally dozens of bibliographies in Wikipedia and I see no reason this particular one should be deleted. As a member of the fishing project I would hope you do as well. Please weigh in on the debate at: Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Annotated Bibliography of Fly Fishing Thanks: --Mike Cline (talk) 12:47, 7 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] User talk:Stewy32
I have reverted your undo on this page. Users are permitted to remove warnings from their talk pages. Mayalld (talk) 17:07, 14 January 2008 (UTC)
- Whilst I might agree with those whe regard it as disruptive, Wikipedia policy doesn't agree - see WP:TALK#User talk pages which is explicit that users are not prohibited from removing content from their user talk page. It is best to avoid doing it, so as to avoid giving vandals any ammunition for any "I am sinned against" defence Mayalld (talk) 22:13, 14 January 2008 (UTC)
Sorry, we weren't able to suggest any articles for you. Something is probably wrong on our end.
[edit] Articles you might like to edit, from SuggestBot
SuggestBot predicts that you will enjoy editing some of these articles. Have fun!
SuggestBot picks articles in a number of ways based on other articles you've edited, including straight text similarity, following wikilinks, and matching your editing patterns against those of other Wikipedians. It tries to recommend only articles that other Wikipedians have marked as needing work. Your contributions make Wikipedia better -- thanks for helping.
If you have feedback on how to make SuggestBot better, please tell me on SuggestBot's talk page. Thanks from ForteTuba, SuggestBot's caretaker.
P.S. You received these suggestions because your name was listed on the SuggestBot request page. If this was in error, sorry about the confusion. -- SuggestBot (talk) 02:28, 19 January 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Admin coaching request
You have previously expressed an interest in undergoing the Admin coaching program. We're currently engaged in a program reset to help things move more smoothly in the future. If you are still interested in the program, please go to Wikipedia:Admin coaching/Requests for Coaching and re-list yourself under Current requests, deleting your entry from Older requests. Also, double-check to make sure coaching is right for you at Coachee checklist; WP:Adoption or WP:Editor review may be more appropriate depending on your situation and aspirations. We should get back to you within a day or so, once a coaching relationship has been identified. Thank you. MBisanz talk 06:43, 25 February 2008 (UTC)
