[edit] Desperation
Hey everyone, bots, admins, simple users, hackers...
I want to tell how incredibly sad I am. I have been trying to contribute heartfully to wikipedia, and I look at this list of the media I have uploaded constantly deleted. I feel these deletions abusive and destructive, every image I have uploaded I got the consent of both the author and people in the image, usualy the author her/himself provided me the image in high quality and specified the licence to which she/he wanted the work to be under. Every image I have uploaded I have referred to permissions-en@wikimedia.org with the details of the conversations and agreements I got from the authors. So if you want to do something useful, work on admin the permissions-en@wikimedia.org instead of deleting contributors work. Now restaure these images please, and if there atribution corrections to be corrected, correct them, don't delete the images just because it takes less time, help wikipedia, don't punish contributors, especially if you consider yourself as a super-contributor. RESPECT!
[edit] Image copyright problem with Image:Tetsuo-Harada deportation nanterre.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Tetsuo-Harada deportation nanterre.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. Even if you created the image yourself, you still need to release it so Wikipedia can use it. If you don't indicate the copyright status of the image on the image's description page, using an appropriate copyright tag, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you made this image yourself, you can use copyright tags like {{PD-self}} (to release all rights), {{self|CC-by-sa-3.0|GFDL}} (to require that you be credited), or any tag here - just go to the image, click edit, and add one of those. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided copyright information for them as well.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:
This is an automated notice by STBotI. For assistance on the image use policy, see Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. STBotI (talk) 22:21, 28 April 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Speedy deletion of Image:Nina Beier.jpg
A tag has been placed on Image:Nina Beier.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. - state clearly the source of the image. If it has been copied from elsewhere on the web you should provide links to: the image itself, the page which uses it and the page which contains the license conditions.
- add the relevant copyright tag.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that a copy be emailed to you. KrakatoaKatie 03:37, 10 May 2008 (UTC)

Sorry, Wikipedia cannot accept works not licensed for commercial use or derivative works, nor can it accept work which has permission for 'Wikipedia use only'. All work must be freely usable/modifiable by all, even for commercial purposes. J Milburn (talk) 12:03, 17 May 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Image permission
Image:Reorient-installation.jpg has been deleted as it was not available under a free license. I notice your talk page message says that permission has been lodged with the permissions-en queue. Please can you supply the ticket number which you would have been given when you sent in the permission, so that I can verify it and restore the image? Stifle (talk) 13:05, 17 May 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Desperation, injustice
Hi. I want to tell how extremely sad I am. I have been trying to contribute heartfully to Wikipedia, and I look at this list of the media I have uploaded constantly deleted. I feel these deletions abusive and destructive, every image I have uploaded I got the consent of both the author and people in the image, for every single image the author her/himself provided me the image in high quality and specified the licence to which she/he wanted the work to be under, in all my cases so far all http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/2.5/. Every image I have uploaded I have referred to permissions-en@wikimedia.org with the details of the conversations and agreements I got from the authors, and I never had any queue ticket you mentionned. So if you want to do something useful, I suggest you work on admin the permissions-en@wikimedia.org instead of deleting contributors work, it is very discouraging. Now help me restaure these images please, and if there are attribution corrections to be corrected, do correct them, don't delete the images just because it takes less time, help wikipedia, don't punish contributors, especially if you consider yourself as a super-contributor or even more if you are admin. RESPECT!

- I will not be able to restore those images as {{cc-by-nd-2.5}} is not a permitted license on Wikipedia. Please read this page which explains this in more detail. Please also remember to be civil in your interactions and check that you have your facts right before you accuse people. Stifle (talk) 08:10, 20 May 2008 (UTC)
