Two points on this article:

1. Siepi was a member of the MET from 1950 to 1972 (until the end of the era Bing). It is not true that he stayed with the company until 1974.

2. His last performance was in 1994 (Austria Center Vienna, Oroveso in Bellini's "Norma")


I notice this article is put under "possibly living people," as if there was some doubt as to whether or not Mr. Siepi was still alive. I'm fairly certain he is still alive and living in the United States (in Florida, if my memory is correct, although I've heard Atlanta mentioned as well). As recall seeing word of his still being alive in a 2004 Opera News mention.
