С 1567 — в Вене; с 1580 — главный придворный трубач в Мюнхене. Автор первой в истории школы игры на трубе (Tutta l’arte della trombetta, ок. 1614), в которую включены самые ранние известные пьесы для регистра кларино, датированные 1584—88.
