[edit] Timely creations
Really good work on those Golden Age superheroes. When you are done it might be worth adding them into the character section at Timely Comics. If you have any ideas about where The Twelve (comic) might fit in there let me know (feel free to drop a note in on the Timely talk page in the section I added). (Emperor 02:10, 17 August 2007 (UTC))
- No problem -the important thing is those entries got off to such a good start. It'll make it easier for people to chip in and add details where they can. The important thing is to make sure they new entries are properly linked in from other places. I'm just going to disambiguate Mister E (a move would be tricky as it has a lot of incoming links but this'll be a start). (Emperor 16:25, 17 August 2007 (UTC))
[edit] Userboxes
I noticed your main page mentioned you'd like some more userboxes. I think this would help you when your collection gets big. Also, feel free to use any of mine if you like (you already snagged one!). If you decide to start making them, use the template (colors you can use). Userboxes are something I recently discovered myself, they're a fun way to express yourself. bahamut0013 ( ♠♣§ ) 17:35, 17 August 2007 (UTC)
- Well, I suppose not, especially since they've been put in the public galleries. I would ask if it's a unique one that isn't posted in the galleries, the userbox talk, userbox ideas, or the new userbox pages, because then the author might not expect it to be used (especially if it seems very personal). Mine, however, are all up for grabs, and I keep making new ones, so you can check my gallery as often as you like. Also, you should sign when you edit a talk page. You can do this by adding four tildes (~~~~) at the end of your posts. bahamut0013 ( ♠♣§ ) 22:19, 17 August 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Speedy deletion of Do Hard Things
A tag has been placed on Do Hard Things, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia per CSD g11.
Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not meet basic Wikipedia criteria may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as an appropriate article, and if you can indicate why the subject of this article is appropriate, you may contest the tagging. To do this, add {{hangon}}
on the top of the article and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm its subject's notability under the guidelines.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion. To do this, add {{hangon}}
on the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag) and leave a note on the page's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. Peripitus (Talk) 00:58, 16 September 2007 (UTC)
[edit] The Rebelution
A {{prod}} template has been added to the article The Rebelution, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice explains why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may contest the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}}
notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. If you endorse deletion of the article, and you are the only person who has made substantial edits to the page, please tag it with {{db-author}}. -- WebHamster 00:58, 16 September 2007 (UTC)

- The whole article has to demonstrate notability per either WP:N or WP:ORG. I had a quick Google for this movement after you deleted the prod tag (which you shouldn't have done until you were in a position to supply the sources etc) and there are plenty of sources out there. Reading the above articles should give you a head start. I rather doubt you'll manage the same for the book though. ---- WebHamster 01:24, 16 September 2007 (UTC)
- Yup, that will stop the article being speedily deleted but it won't stop an WP:AFD. You need to do lots more work to make it an acceptable article. I've marked a couple of things you'll need right off. ---- WebHamster 01:48, 16 September 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Image copyright problem with Image:Rohrbaugh R9.jpg
Thank you for uploading Image:Rohrbaugh R9.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the image. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.
If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. STBotI (talk) 03:23, 11 December 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:Storm Shadow 1.jpg
Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:Storm Shadow 1.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.
If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. [edit] Orphaned non-free media (Image:Storm Shadow 1.jpg)
Thanks for uploading Image:Storm Shadow 1.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 12:31, 2 April 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Formation and evolution of the Solar System
Hi. I have read the talk page (where you say you will not get involved in editing) and the article on the nebular hypothesis. You want to "silence the creationists", but that just plays into their hands. I want to let the creationists hoist themselves with their own petard. Be that as it may, the talk page section you refer to has only one comment in it, yours, and therefore represents no consensus. The disclaimer you included goes for all science and goes without saying. --Milkbreath (talk) 13:47, 7 June 2008 (UTC)
- Oh. I'm an idiot. Keep your hands and feet clear of moving blade. --Milkbreath (talk) 14:45, 7 June 2008 (UTC)
