[edit] Good Job
Good job expanding mythology pages! Haukur 08:38, 12 May 2006 (UTC)
- I'd also like to congratulate you on a job well done, Cerdic, especially your great work on the Numbers in Norse mythology article. King Wagga 17:56, 3 November 2007 (UTC)
- Thank you, King. I appreciate that. Cerdic 18:54, 3 November 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Mythology articles
Many thanks for your message :) But as Haukur previously said, you've done some very useful work too. Sigo 05:12, 6 November 2006 (UTC)
- And you’ve been doing quite a good job again this week, especially with Skaði. Some articles really needed to be rewritten. But you may be wrong (and you may be right too) about that. The text (Vafþrúðnismál) uses the word hundrað, which can mean both 100 and 120. In some translations you find 100, in others 120. I don't think there's any way to know. Sigo 22:02, 26 January 2007 (UTC)

- That's certainly good to know then, and I appreciate you bringing it to my attention. My source was Faulkes (verified by Brodeur) and Larrington, but if it can mean both then I think a good compromise can be reached by including what you stated in the article, so please feel free to edit it accordingly. Cerdic 17:17, 27 January 2007 (UTC)

- That's fine the way it is. Hundrað only has a symbolic meaning. It doesn't really matter how much it is, so I think "hundred" is the best translation. Sigo 19:13, 27 January 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Slid
You have created a redirect called "Slid". However the destination article of that redirect makes no mention of the word "slid". Normally, it should be understood from the body of the article why a particular redirect goes there. Please add this explanation or remove the redirect. I want to create an article about "Subscriber Line Identifier" whose acronym is "SLID". See: http://www.area-codes.com/area-code-faq.asp
- Slíd is mentioned in the third paragraph as the name of one among a group of rivers. I made Slid (without the diacritic) a redirect since it's a common Anglicized spelling, but it's a non-issue to me so if you want to create your article then do what you need to do. [edit] Regarding edits to List of commercial brands of cider
Thank you for contributing to Wikipedia, Cerdic! However, your edit here was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove spam from Wikipedia. [edit] Hatheg
A "{{prod}}" template has been added to the article Hatheg, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but the article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice explains why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may contest the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}}
notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. [edit] Danke
Thanks for catching those two goofy edits on the Glasses page and undoing them. I swear if one doesn't keep an eye on an article at least one a day, this stuff piles up quickly. Good looking out. Reason turns rancid 01:28, 24 October 2007 (UTC)
- You're welcome. There's quite a narrow sphere of articles I contribute to on a regular basis but when a vandal intrudes upon my territory I tend to zero in and follow them around. It helps that the "Compare selected versions" function makes it nearly impossible for them to get away with it. Cerdic 01:46, 24 October 2007 (UTC)
