I am not a doctor. I am from Germany and there is a lot missing.
Most important: The deaths occured not because of Lipobay itself - it happened in combination with Gemfibrozil, also a satelin.
There was a debatte if the doctors were "too stupid" to read the instructions. Above substance was mentioned and it said, it is dangerous to combine both medicaments. Seriously, which doctor prescribes a new medicament in combination with the old one without research on the possible outcome?
