Concerning article :-"Ceramium I have has trouble before when repeating a reference. Will be grateful for help, not just putting things right but letting me know what I did wrong! When repeating what is wrong (for example) with: <ref name=''Maggs 93''/>

- You're using double-single-quotes (
''
) rather than the correct double-quotes ("
). These may look the same in many fonts, but they are different to computers, and only the double-quotes will allow the reference to work. (I think you can use single single quotes in this context as well, but using single double quotes is safest.) --ais523 11:18, 6 November 2007 (UTC)

The carpogonium is certainly diploid and releases diploid spore which settle, grow to produce diploid plants. These diploid plants release haploid tetraspores. Although I know this to be almost certainly true I have not found it stated in the references! I'm working on it.Osborne (talk) 20:09, 12 December 2007 (UTC)
