Certified Wireless Network Expert

The Certified Wireless Network Expert (CWNE) is the highest level certification in the CWNP program. It certifies the ability to design, install, secure, optimize and troubleshoot wireless networks.[1]

The CWNE is the final exam in a four-level certification process. In addition to the wireless fundamentals, administration and security aspects certified by the preceding qualifications in the program, the CWNE adds network and protocol analysis skills.[2]
[edit] CWNE requirements
In addition to passing the exam, a minimum of two years documented full-time work experience with enterprise wireless networks is required. This must be verifiable and must be confirmed in writing by three independent persons.

The CWNE is a lifetime qualification (as of 1/1/07).[3]
