Certified Business Manager

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Certified Business Manager (CBM) is a professional credential created and administered by the Association of Professionals in Business Management (APBM). APBM developed the Common Body of Knowledge for Business (CBKB), based on standard MBA curricula, as a standardized collection of the knowledge that APBM identified as essential for general business management. The Certified Business Manager examination, based on the CBKB, was released in 2000 in an effort to establish business management as a true profession similar to law and medicine. The Association of Professionals in Business Management also created the Certified Associate Business Manager (CABM) designation which is based on an undergraduate level pre-MBA business curriculum.
