From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Certified Broadcast Meteorologist (CBM) is a rating for metorologists given by the American Meteorological Society.

The CBM is given to "recognize broadcast and consulting meteorologists who have achieved a certain level of competency". [1]

  • The CBM is the highest level of certification from the AMS, and involves academic requirements, on-air performance, a rigorous examination, and continuing education. [2]
