Cerro Maggiore is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Milan in the Italian region Lombardy, located about 20 km northwest of Milan. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 14,230 and an area of 10.2 km².[1]
The municipality of Cerro Maggiore contains the frazione (subdivision) Cantalupo.
Cerro Maggiore borders the following municipalities: Rescaldina, Uboldo, Legnano, Origgio, San Vittore Olona, Parabiago, Nerviano.
In 25 August 1946 was hidden the Benito Mussolini's corpse (1883-1945), where had been staying since 30 August 1957.
