Cerovac

Cerovac is a village in Šumadija region, 10 kilometers north-east from Kragujevac city, Serbia. The village is in 'shumadian' type, but is small. In the last census Cerovac had a population of 1000. The commuinity was organised administratively first in 1965, but was founded several centuries ago. It is on the main Kragujevac-Belgrad near to Rača. An elementary school was founded in the last decade of 19th. century. The village has a church (Orthodox), a community centre, hotels, shops and a market.
