Cernat or Csernáton (Romanian: Cernat; Hungarian: Csernáton) is a commune in Covasna County, Romania comprising of 3 villages:
- Albiş/Kézdialbis
- Cernat/Csernáton
- Icafalău/Ikafalva

The commune has an absolute Székely Hungarian majority. According to the 2002 Census it has a population of 4,025 of which 98.63% or 3,920 are Hungarian.
