Ceremonial Oath was a Swedish death metal band which was founded in early 1990 under the name Desecrator and disbanded in 1995.[1] During their short career they released 2 demos, 1 EP and 2 full-length albums.[1] Despite its short activity time, the band served the purpose of bringing together some of the musicians which would later assemble In Flames, an influential band to the melodic death metal genre.
