[edit] Re: Inadvertant block of Shared-IPs

I'm afraid I cannot unblock Firecrotch18 (talkcontribs), but I did unblock his autoblocked IP. It would have expired in a few hours on its own; IP autoblocks only last for 24 hours. Assuming Firecrotch18 does not attempt to edit again, the IP should remain unblocked. Please feel free to let me know if you run into any further problems. Happy editing, -- Hadal 02:08, 3 Jun 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Waffles

You've just improved that awful waffle article 100%. It is no longer awful. Yay, you! --Mothperson 13:11, 4 Jun 2005 (UTC)

BTW the statement about teeth being ground to the gumline by the grit from grindstone in flour is accurate and supportable (both in citation and archaeological record), but, its arguably not relevant to waffles. Stbalbach 15:47, 15 Jun 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Center for Medieval Studies

Where is this Center located? Are you university affiliated or independent? Certainly some verification is appreciated given that calling oneself a Center is a big claim to authority. JamesBurns 05:22, 8 Jun 2005 (UTC)

Are you the Center for Medieval Studies at Fordham University [1], the University of Minnesota [2], or Penn State [3]? Or are you the Center for Medieval Studies, Inc.? [4] Neutralitytalk 07:23, Jun 15, 2005 (UTC)

I am quite certain this "Centre" is in fact from an AOL address. It's too much of a coincidence. JamesBurns 29 June 2005 04:23 (UTC)
I'm almost certain that Center-for-Medieval-Studies is another sockpuppet of mr. Williamson. Just look at the one edit on the Joan of Arc page: promoting a site of mr. Williamson that doesn't even exist yet! Mr. Williamson claims he's a specialist on the Hundred Years War. All edits of Center-for-Medieval-Studies relate to that. This is the second time mr. Williamson claims he's a "center of studies", all by himself. Switisweti 14:01, 3 September 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Edit summaries

Greetings. Could I request that your members use edit summaries when they contribute? The work you people are doing is very interesting, but more edit summaries would make it easier to follow. Thanks! Fire Star 04:24, 31 August 2005 (UTC)

[edit] A. Williamson

It is becoming established in my mind that User:AWilliamson is an agressive self-publicist. If this is indeed a co-operative account, and Mr. Williamson is associated with this group (perhaps the Centre for Medieval Studies that Neutrality suggests?), then perhaps you can impress upon Mr. Williamson the damage he is doing to any reputation that you may be seeking to establish. If Mr. Williamson is not related to your organization, then it would probably be wise to make that clear before you are tarred with the same brush. Noisy | Talk 18:32, September 3, 2005 (UTC)

[edit] This Center was apparently closed after summer

Contrary to what one would expect, this Center was closed after (!) summer. The "students" (i.e. Allen Williamson and his alter ego's) have been very active during summer, but now nothing is heard of them. This "Center for Medieval Studies" was obviously the sock puppet I suspected it to be. Case closed. — HAJARS 22:18, 1 November 2005 (UTC)
