Talk:Central Reserve Police Force

This article misses a lot of points and is highly biased against the CRPF. First of the mistakes I am going to edit soon now is the date of the passage of the CRPF Act. The actual date is 28th of December 1949 and not 31st December 1949 as mentioned.
Secondly, it is wrong to say, as mentioned, that CRPF is a weak or incapable force and could not deal with the Jihadi insurgency in Kashmir. The main reason for the induction of the BSF in Kashmir was that the bulk of the CRPF was already committed to combating insurgency in Punjab and the North-Easter states, and more manpower from CRPF was not available.
Thirdly, regarding the capability of the CRPF, the achievements include the ones, which even the Indian Army would envy. For instance, in the 1965 Indo-Pak war two companies (containing approx. 150 men in total) of the 2nd Battalion of CRPF defeated an entire infantry brigade (containing approx. 1600 men) of Pakistan Army.
Fourthly, on 13th December, 2002, the CRPF men killed all five Jihadi suicide attackers when they stormed and attacked the Indian Parliament.
Fifthly, as recently as in 2005, the CRPF troops killed all Jihadi suicide attackers, who stormed the Ram temple at Ayodhya.
With all the aforementioned achievements, I do not think CRPF can ever be branded as incapable or such word be used to corroborate baseless ideas as shown on the page.
