Articles under heading CIA activities in country X should have, on a historical basis, entries that are identified as:
- Intelligence estimate: What the CIA said in an NIE or published report about country X at a certain time, example CIA activities in the Soviet Union#Soviet Union 1959
- Covert action, CIA activities in Vietnam#Vietnam 1954
- Clandestine collection, CIA activities in the Soviet Union#Soviet Union 1959
- Counterintelligence, example CIA activities in the Soviet Union#Soviet Union 1954
- Psychological operations, example CIA activities in Vietnam#Vietnam 1969. Psychological operations should be identified as Black, Gray or White, following the classification in Psychological operations (United States).
Subheads incorporating the above terms should include a date so that they can be wikilinked, e.g. 1954 Black Psychological Operation.
