More detailed description:

In the bottom right-hand corner is the district of Töölö, and on the left side, across the railway tracks and the Töölö bay (which looks more like a lake), lies the district of Kallio. In the front there are the Helsinki Olympic Stadium, the new football arena named Finnair Stadium, and the Swimming Stadium.

Helsinki's central railway station and the core downtown area is approximately at the center of the photo.

Out on the sea, to the left, the islands of the historical Suomenlinna fortress (among other islands) can be seen.
