This photo was taken in 2008 and shows a dialysis unit's central dialysate delivery system. The dialysate concentrate is gravity fed to the dialysis stations where the dialysis machines mix the concentrate with water that has been filtered to Association for the Advancement of Medical Instrumentation (AAMI) standards for hemodialysis water quality.
