The Centre for Management Studies, Dibrugarh University (CMSDU) is the easternmost Management-School of India and started functioning on February 3, 2003 with the holding of classes for the first batch of Master of Business Administration (MBA) students. Since then, the Center has made tremendous strides by introducing newer programs of study, doing consultancy work and becoming a platform for the interaction of industry and academia. The 3 – year Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) and the 3 – year MBA (Part Time) classes started in the year 2004. 2006 saw the launch of the 1 – year PGDTM (Post Graduate Diploma in Tourism Management) Program. There is also a Research Program in Management.

Since its inception, CMS has left no stone unturned to provide inspiring and contemporary education, keeping in mind the corporate environment and providing its students a greater exposure towards the same. Amidst certain strains and obstacles, CMS has completed more than three years of its existence with flying colors, bringing along with it laurels and glory. Team CMS is committed to developing professionals who are committed to excellence in their personal and professional endeavors and who have the vision, courage and dedication to initiate and manage change. As part of its activities related to providing quality consultancy services to the Industry, a ‘Consultancy Cell’ has been made operational. Named Parivartan, it is striving to provide management consultancy in the fields of Marketing, Finance and Human Resource Development besides undertaking Training and Development (T&D) programs
