[edit] History
After research identified a gap in the market for 20-55 year olds, Central FM went on-air in 1996 promising to play "classic tracks and today's best music". Central FM retains its position as the flagship radio station for English-speaking residents and holidaymakers alike. Broadcasting to the entire Costa del Sol, inland areas and Gibraltar, Central FM is an exciting mix of music, chat, humour, interviews, major competitions and International, National and Regional News.
