The Central Texas Stampede was the name given to a former professional ice hockey team, which was located in Belton, Texas. The team played its home games at the Bell County Expo Center. The team's original coach was former [NHL] player Bob Bourne, who led the team to a 35-27-0-2 record in the 1996-97 season. The franchise lasted four full seasons, before folding during its fifth season of operation. [1]
