The Central Midlands League First Division was an English football league, which was a part of the Central Midlands League. It was founded in 1983 as the Central Midlands Premier Division, while what is now known as the Premier Division was referred to as Central Midlands League Premier First Division, one level above.
Originally the league at this level existed for two seasons, from 1983 until 1985. It was revived as the Central Midlands League First Division for the 1986-87 season to deal with the fall-out from the closure of the Northern Counties East Football League Division Three. This lasted only one season though.
It was revived again for the 1990-91, but this was like before, just for one season.
