Central High School is a secondary school located in Duluth, Minnesota which educates students in grades nine through twelve. The school first opened in 1893. The mascot of the school is the Trojan. In 1971, the school moved to its current location from its original building, which now houses administrative offices for the district.
In 2007, in a controversial move, the Duluth School Board announced that they would support a long-range plan for the district which would close Central and keep a renovated Ordean Middle School and Denfeld High School as the only two high schools in Duluth.
[edit] The School Song, Hurrah for the Red and White
- Hail, oh hail, to dear old Red and White
- You're the flag that guides us all,
- Fight, fight, fight for dear old Red and White
- We will ever heed your call.
- High, High, high we'll let your colors fly
- As each happy day goes faster by.
- As we face the strife for the best in life
- It's for you we'll ever cry!
- Hurrah for the Red and White,
- Hurrah for the Red and White,
- As your comrades firm and true
- We'll be always backing you.
- Ever ready to plan and do for you the best we can.
- Hurrah for the Red and White,
- Hurrah for the Red and White,
- We will raise your standards high
- Ev'ry day that passes by,
- For we love you, old flag, of Red and White!

- Alma Mater, Salve.
- Now we leave thee, leave thy fos’tring care;
- In life’s battle we our part must bear.
- May thy mem’ry in our hearts abide.
- Lighten all our onward path, our footsteps guide.

- Always loving, hon’ring thee;--
