Central Election Commission

The Central Election Commission (CEC) is the name of an organization in a number of countries which is in charge of affairs related to national and local elections. Other countries may have similar establishments with other names.

Usually, the CEC sets and oversees local election commissions in all administrative subdivisions of the state, which are in charge of election affairs on the corresponding levels.
