Central Brooklyn Jazz Consortium

The Central Brooklyn Jazz Consortium is an association of jazz performers. It has organized an annual jazz festival in Central Brooklyn, New York for nine years.[1]

The Chairman of the Consortium is Jitu Weusi.[2]

[edit] 2008 CBJC Jazz Festival

From March 29 to May 2, 2008, the Consortium is presenting the "9th Annual Central Brooklyn Jazz Festival." The theme of the 2008 festival is "BROOKLYN - In the JAZZ Tradition." Over forty artists are performing.[3]

Festivities will include induction of members of the Brooklyn Jazz Hall of Fame.[4]
