The Central African Republic national basketball team are the men's basketball side that represent Central African Republic in international competition and played in the 1974 FIBA World Championship in San Juan, Puerto Rico where they finished 14th in the completion out of sixteen teams.

Central African Republic have won the African Championship twice. Their first title came in 1974 when they hosted the tournament and beat Senegal in the final. They hoisted the trophy again in 1987 by defeating Egypt for the championship. The team also took third place in the 1968 tournament.
