The CentraCare Health System is a system of health care providers in Central Minnesota, United States. It comprises three hospitals, four long-term care facilities, nearly a dozen clinics and numerous specialty care services. As of 2006, the system had 5,877 employees and 1,278 volunteers.[1]

[edit] Long Prairie Memorial Hospital and Home
Long Prairie Memorial Hospital and Home is a not-for-profit, 34-bed community hospital and 95-bed long-term care facility that provides health care services and access to a variety of specialists. The institution employs over 280 people who serve nearly 18,000 residents in and around Todd County. The facility is located in Long Prairie, Minnesota.[2]

Melrose Area Hospital is a not-for-profit, 28-bed community hospital with an attached 75-bed skilled nursing home and 42-unit senior apartment building. Health care services and access to specialists are provided on the medical campus in Melrose, Minnesota. The institution employs over 170 people and serves 10,000 residents in and around western Stearns County.[3]

CentraCare Clinic consists of 180 physicians who practice in 20 medical specialties. CentraCare Clinic operates nine clinic sites in Becker, Eagle Bend, St. Cloud, Long Prairie, Melrose and St. Joseph, Minnesota.[1]

St. Benedict's Senior Community is a not-for-profit health care and housing provider for older adults. Its care center provides nursing services, including subacute and palliative care, and services for those with Alzheimer’s disease or other memory loss conditions. St. Benedict's has locations in both St. Cloud and Monticello, Minnesota.[4][5]

CentraCare Health Foundation engages the philanthropic community in partnership to improve health and health care. The Foundation accepts charitable contributions for all CentraCare Health System entities and averages over $100,000 per year in grants throughout Central Minnesota.[6][7]

St. Cloud Hospital is a Catholic, not-for-profit hospital located in St. Cloud, Minnesota. The hospital has over 3,850 employees, 380 physicians and 865 volunteers. It serves 617,000 people in a 12-county area and ranks among the top 100 hospitals in the United States in a number of indexes.
