Centigradz are a hip-hop and R&B crew from Sri Lanka.

Amila, Thusith, Udaya and Ishan met aged 14 years. Their first unofficial collection of songs was released in 2001. Blind Faith was their first song to achieve airplay.

[edit] Early Career

Amila Niroshan Paranamanage, M.B Thusith Niroshana, Udayasri Wickremasinghe and Ishan Lakmal Lanthra better known as the Centigradz. Centigradz when they all were 14 years of age they did their first ever stage performance in the school stage. “Blind Faith” (2001) was their very first song that got airplay. In the year of 2003C, entigradz received airplay for the song “Tradition”. The song reached 2nd spot in the hot 40 countdown program which was done by the ABC radio network, “Sun FM”. They then released their “Dark Angel”. which reached number 1 on the Sun FM chart. The song “Dark Angel” held the No. 1 spot for four straight weeks and also featured in multiple charts at the same time. Centigradz released their first Sinhala R&B named “Sulanga Se” in October 2004 and its currently receiving airplay on most of the sinhala radio stations in Sri Lanka.

The groups' debut album "Heritage" was released in 2005.
