Center Line High School is located in Center Line, Michigan. It is part of Center Line Public Schools. The school mascot is the Panther. CLHS is a Blue Ribbon School of Excellence and is NCA Accredited. There are many clubs and organizations such as Link Crew and Student Congress. Link crew was introduced in the 2007-2008 school year to help freshmen adjust to high school.

[edit] Concert/Marching Band

CLHS features band as one of its many classes and extracurricular activities. The CLHS band has received top ratings at MSBOA band festival, and is recognized as one of Michigan's finest music programs. It is directed by conductor Joseph Kolar.

Mathematics Department

Mr. Mark Tapp: Mr. Tapp is a math teacher at CLHS. He teaches Advanced Placement Calculus, Physical Science, and Freshman Algebra. Over the past year, Mr. Tapp has been mentor to a group of students known as the Link Crew. The Link Crew is responsible for easing the transition from Middle School to High School.

Science Department

Mrs. Debra Watson: Mrs. Watson is a biology teacher at CLHS. She teaches honors biology, anatomy and chemistry.

Mr. Mark Keller: Mr. Keller is both a chemistry and physics teacher at CLHS. He teaches both Advanced Placement chemistry as well as Chemistry I. He has over an 85% pass rate on the [Advanced Placement] Chemistry exam.

English Department

Mr. Roman: He is an English and stagecraft teacher at CLHS. He is especially entertaining when it comes to the Horror section of his lessons.

Social Studies Department

Mr. Jamie Bellos: Mr. Bellos is a world class history teacher who teaches Honors History, World History, Current Events and is the coach of the Boys Tennis Team at CLHS.

Art And Creativity Department

Mrs. Donna Giacona: Has taught Visual Arts class at CLHS for many years. After graduating from Ferris State University, she has guided students that moved on to Ferris State University. She has also won the North American International Autoshow Poster Competition for the year 2008.
