Centennial Secondary School was founded in Belleville, Ontario, Canada in 1967, 100 years after Canada was declared a country, thus named Centennial. Centennial is a "Triple A" school; Athletics, Academics, and Arts. To specialize in the Arts Program in the region, students in grade 8 audition for spots to be in this program where at the end of their high school career they receive a special certificate of the arts.
Currently, Centennial is starting off with the Arts and Culture certificate for students to have a higher standing in the area when applying to post secondary education.
Graduates Include Riyo Mori (Miss Universe 2007)
