Centennial Secondary School is a high school located in Coquitlam, British Columbia, established in 1967 to celebrate the centennial year of Canadian Confederation. It is part of School District 43.
Centennial is a comprehensive, semestered, secondary school (grades 9-12) of 1850 students, from a mixed socio economic area of central Coquitlam. This school has high academic standards and has achieved outstanding results: 88 provincial scholarships (17% of class). Fine arts and athletic programs are strong and opportunities for student leadership are abundant. Special programs such as Culinary Arts, Automotive and Experiential Studies 10 are highlights of this outstanding secondary school.
