The Centennial Aviation Club is a flying club based at Briscoe Field in Lawrenceville, Georgia, United States. The club offers team building activities such as flights, hot-air ballooning, skydiving and rafting.

Founded in 2006, at a local high school, the Centennial Aviation Club is one of the most popular student-run flying clubs in the state. In its first year, its founder was acclaimed by the Atlanta Journal Constitution for his dedication and enthusiasm. Thereafter, in an effort to promote aviation to other students in the metropolitan Atlanta area, the club moved its base of operations to Lawrenceville Airport and began operating as a unique, student-run aviation club.
[edit] Present Operations
CAC is operating on the basis of promoting aviation to students still in school and that are looking at aviation as a possible career path. They currently offer free first flights to new members, and through partnerships with local companies and organizations, allow members to take part in a number of activities. They operate aircraft such as the Piper PA-28 type aircraft, Cessna 172 type aircraft and Cessna 152 type aircraft. The Centennial Aviation Club is also a social organization in which members come to monthly meetings to learn more about the diverse field of aviation through hands on activities and tours of various facilities such as the control tower, airport hangar and more.

Although still relatively small, the CAC plans to become one of the major flying clubs in the US. They plan to expand by promoting aviation to youngsters, and thus, greatly benefiting the aviation industry through the creativity and enthusiasm of great young minds.
