[edit] Charge of Fe?
Since carbide ion is 4- (when there is one carbon), what are the charges on the 3 Fe ions? Are they +1,+1 and +2? Or is there an error?RSido 01:25, 14 November 2007 (UTC)
- I'm not convinced that you can assign clear oxidation numbers to the atoms in this structure. You might as well assign 0 to all atoms and think of it as an alloy! --Itub 19:22, 14 November 2007 (UTC)
