Cem Sultan (born 27 February 1991 in Bahçelievler, Istanbul, Turkey) is a Turkish professional footballer, currently playing for Turkish Super League side Galatasaray SK. He plays as a striker. He is already famous for his phenomenal scoring record, having scored 77 goals in all 33 games he played in a season in 2006[2], setting a record. He also holds the record for the youngest footballer in Turkey to have signed a professional contract, at the age of 15.
Despite being a very young age, the player aroused interest not just from other clubs in Turkey but also across Europe; namely Italy where he was the focus of attention from Serie A side Empoli in 2008[3]. Recently however, he extended his contract with the Turkish side until April 2011[4].
