[edit] Happy Easter!
(or whatever alternative celebration of northern hemisphere spring you choose to engage in)
Everyone else seems to have stolen all the good Easter pictures and stuff, but I wish you a Happy Easter all the same. — FireFox • T [15:50, 16 April 2006]

Happy First Edit Day!!!!! -SBrools (talk)

[edit] Torchic!
Cel, someone's deleted the Torchic FAC on the FAC page. Do you know what happened? Highway Rainbow Sneakers 10:41, 17 April 2006 (UTC)
- Sorry for coming back again (I think you're beginning to blank me) but I found out what happened. Raul deleted because "It didn't have a single support" and I was to "fix all the problems then renominate" and he explained the length of the nomination was because my lack of ability to write. Great, Highway Rainbow Sneakers 11:34, 17 April 2006 (UTC)
[edit] DocGlasgow
Doc Glasgow has now delete both 'Template: User AmE-0' and 'Template: User-AmE-0' Jooler 10:46, 17 April 2006 (UTC)
- Not quite true. I deleted the more offensive one (User-AmE-0). But the other (User AmE-0), over which I said I would not revert war with CP, was actually deleted by JamesF, I merely removed Jooler's recreation [1]. --Doc ask? 12:36, 17 April 2006 (UTC)
[edit] My RFA
Many thanks for your support of my RFA, which passed narrowly. I will try to be worthy of your trust. Regards, Kaisershatner 20:23, 17 April 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Happy first edit day
Taking the message of Esperanza to heart, I have decided to personally wish a happy (insert particular anniversary) to everyone who leaves such a notice on the Esperanza calendar. It's still (just barely) April 17 where I live, so Happy First Edit Day! RyanGerbil10 04:33, 18 April 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Help me for a second please
I am fourteen applying for the National Honor Society at my school and need somebody from Wikipedia to write a short 1-2 paragraphs verfying that I have been doing things on wikipedia. Here are my contributions. Here is my edit count. I do a lot of things and really love wikipedia since two years ago I found it. I'm on the counter-vandalism team, esperenza, and all that good stuff. Somehow I find wikifying and merging a bit fun. I know you haven't known me for long (5 seconds), but, I sent a message to four other Wikipedians I know and they haven't responded. I need it in at least 11 hours from now. Thank you very much!! -- Mac Davis] ⌇☢ ญƛ. 07:15, 18 April 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Grace Note's vote on your RfB
Hi CP,
I think that was a fairly shabby thing to do, and just thought I'd drop by with a note of encouragement. Without trampling WP:NPA, I can safety call Grace Note an oddly gruff person (I remember being called "fucking ridiculous" by the editor for no particular reason.) Please don't take the comment to heart, and know that you are well-respected and loved, even among the opposers. :) Best wishes, Xoloz 17:33, 18 April 2006 (UTC)
[edit] CJ election reminder
Hi Celestianpower
I noticed that you are not registered for voting or nomination in the CJ elections, and would like to remind everyone that all Candidates Must Submit Their Statement By April 23rd. Voting will begin April 24th, and end May 1st. More details on how to nominate yourself can be found HERE.
I hope to see you at the elections!

[edit] RfA thanks from Petros471
- For a more general RfA thanks to all voters see User:Petros471/RFA Thanks.
I'll officially note here that you provided my favourite support reason (well it made me laugh the most anyway!). Cheers, Petros471 20:59, 18 April 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Thank you
I appreciate your kind words. It was quite a blow to see both of the articles I had featured be nominated one after the other. Fortunately, Crash test dummy passed the vett, though Weather lore lost. Your support helped keep me going - I have written three or four new articles since. Denni ☯ 04:44, 20 April 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Thank you for giving me the hope to join
Re: "If you can show consistently that you have reformed, I can re-investigate the case in a couple of months time..."
- Those words mean very much to me; I thank you wholeheartedly and will never forget them. I feel much relieved now and will try my absolute best. I'll also read about Esperanza and every aspect of it in the meantime. --Shultz IV 10:20, 3 April 2006 (UTC)
- (addendum) On June 3rd, what should I do? Should I contact you first or can I add myself to the list right then? Again, thanks. I'm glad Esperanzian membership isn't permanently closed to previously blocked users. --Shultz IV 09:45, 22 April 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Admin coaching
I hope it's not too late to enlist your help in coaching me to be an admin. The timing has been a bit tricky. I was right in the middle of working on Olympics pages when Mysekurity had first contacted me and then right in the middle of the final lead up to my mom's wedding when you re-contacted me. I hope that now the stars have aligned and we can get working on this.
I'm very interested in an evaluation on whether or not you would consider me a good admin candidate. For a large part of my time here at Wikipedia, I've been working on a largely neglected, but relatively uncontroversial, section of Wikipedia - The Olympics pages. Up until a couple of months ago, the work didn't involve a lot of talk page discussion, "project" work, or anything else. However, a certain user raised a bit of a ruckus and I became more involved in other aspects.
Along the way, I also gained a new mission. Many of the Olympic athlete pages contained pictures that were obvious violation of copyright, poorly tagged and just an overall mess. This led me to the larger project of cleaning up untagged images.
I look forward to hearing from you.

[edit] AC election comments
I would also prefer it if you deleted the comments, but as you said that would be controversial. :) ILovEPlankton 13:21, 23 April 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Election staff
Excuse me — but why can't the election staff vote? Fetofs Hello! 14:10, 23 April 2006 (UTC)
- I find it strange that we need some kind of illusion at Esperanza, as most Esperanzaians wouldn't care anyway... But I respect your decisions. Fetofs Hello! 14:22, 23 April 2006 (UTC)
[edit] RfB and penguins
Sorry to see that your RfB didn't work out. I'm sure the next time, when (not if! You will have to make a second red link now that that first one went blue) you are back up for it it will go better. And if you can't be a bureaucrat, you might as well have a funny looking penguin! :) -- Natalya 17:27, 23 April 2006 (UTC)
[edit] From Talk:Charizard
What!? You’ve never heard of Frenzy Plant or Volt Tackle? Frenzy Plant is the Grass EHB from the Cape Brink move tutor. Volt Tackle is an Electric attack with recoil damage. If you breed two Pikachu while one is holding a Light Ball, the Pichu will hatch knowing Volt Tackle. -- WikidSmaht (talk) 07:34, 23 April 2006 (UTC)
- Yeah, I'm much, much more clued up on the original games (the best :P). --Celestianpower háblame 12:22, 23 April 2006 (UTC)
- Have you tried FireRed and LeafGreen? I never actually finished G/S/C/Ru/Sa... I liked them OK, but the last one I had actually finished was Yellow. Then I picked up FR & LG for the hell of it- and I got totally hooked. Nostalgic, fun, all the charm of the originals with most of the best elements of the others, plus wireless play and 7 extra islands. And I played as a girl in LG, which was fun. I like her hat. -- WikidSmaht (talk) 19:58, 23 April 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Old Skool Esperanzial note
Since this isn't the result of an AC meeting, I have decided to go Old Skool. This note is to remind you that the elections are taking place now and will end at 23:50 UTC on 2006-04-29. Please vote here. Thanks. --Celestianpower háblame 20:42, 23 April 2006 (UTC)
