[edit] Distance
The Celtic Way runs for 1155 kilometres (722 miles).
[edit] The Route
The route is not a continuous path for the whole length of the walk route. The route runs from West Wales eastward through South Wales to Chepstow where it enters the well known Celtic counties of Gloucestershire, Wiltshire, Somerset, Dorset, Devon and finally enters Cornwall.
The route links sites of importance in Celtic Britain in prehistory such as Stonehenge.
