Cedric James (born March 19, 1979 in Fort Worth, Texas) is an American football wide receiver in the National Football League currently on the practice squad of the New England Patriots. He has also played for the Minnesota Vikings, the Dallas Cowboys, and the Rhein Fire of the now-defunct NFL Europa. James played college football at Texas Christian University.

James attended Kennedale High School in Kennedale, Texas and was a sudent and a letterman in football. In football, he was a two-time All-District 11-3A selection and he finished his senior season with 27 receptions for 678 yards(25.11 yards per reception avg.)and 11 touchdowns and rushed 10 times for 155 yards(15.50 yards per rushing attempt avg.). Cedric James graduated from Kennedale High School in 1997.
