[edit] Religious Life
Cecilia was born on July 16, 1693, in Calumpit, Bulacan to half-Kapampangan parents. Together with her sister Dionisia Talangpaz, they settled down near the shrine of the Our Lady of Mount Carmel in Manila. Their devout life attracted the attention of the Recollects who were taking care of the shrine and by July 1725, they gave the sisters the habit of tertiaries and gathered them in a beaterium.
[edit] San Sebastian Convent
Both sisters went on to establish the "Beaterio de San Sebastian de Calumpang". After years, they headed a congregation called "Augustinian Recollect Sisters".
[edit] Death
Cecilia died in the year 1731 and a year after her sister Dionisia followed in 1732.
[edit] Beatification
On 10 September 1999, she (together with her sister) had their causes for beatification opened, bestowied with the go-signal "Nulla Osta" and thereby giving them the titles "Servants of God."
