The Danish company CDRator A/S was founded in 2002. It develops and markets Rator, a billing and customer care platform, primarily for the telecommunications industry. The company is privately held, funded, and owned by leading employees and an external investor. The company has app. 65 employees and 25 customers. CDRator was awarded Gazelle status in 2006 and 2007 by the Danish financial newspaper Børsen. Based on criteria like revenue growth, profitability, and number of employees, CDRator was in 2006 the 39th, and in 2007 the 36th, fastest growing company in Denmark.

CDRator’s head office is situated in the Copenhagen capitol area and a development office in L’Viv, Ukraine.

Rator is designed to manage and support complete MNVO/MVNE, VoIP, fixed line and broadband service provider businesses, including subscriber signup, service delivery, invoice and payment handling, customer care, and retention management. An integral part of Rator is that both Internet and physical shops can be used as sales and support channels. Rator is designed as a logical multi-layer platform and programmed in Java. Rator integrates to other systems via an open SOAP interface. Business processes are defined and incorporated using active workflows and Rator may be operated on standard server-grade PCs.
