CDK is a library written in C that provides a collection of widgets for text user interfaces (TUI) development. It was originally written by Mike Glover and then later extended by Thomas Dickey. The widgets wrap ncurses functionality to make writing full screen curses programs faster. This entry refers to the version maintained by Thomas Dickey, and should not be confused with the CDK written by Vexus.
