  • While a skier is waiting in the water for the boat to come back around after a fall, have the skier raise whatever equipment they have high in the air so approaching boats can see the skier in the water.
  • Draw your flat hand across your neck, in a cutting motion, to ask the driver to cut the motor.
  • Clasp your hands together over your head to indicate "skier OK" after a fall.
  • Hold your ski up and pointing out of the water to indicate that you wish to be picked up.
