Club Deportivo Castellón is a Spanish football team formed in 1922 and based in Castellón. They will play the 2007-08 season in the Segunda División. They are based in the city of Castellón in the Valencian Community. They play in the Nou Castalia Stadium which has a capacity of 16,000.

Football first apeared in the town in 1911 and after a period of time under the headings of "Deportivo", "Castalia", "Gimnástico", "Cultural" and "Cervantes", Club Deportivo Castellón was founded on 22 July 1922.
The club has periodically featured in La Liga, finishing 5th in 1972/73 and a Cup final appearance with a team featuring Vicente Del Bosque who later moved to Real Madrid.
In 1991, 29 August, in an extraordinary assembly, the conversion of the Club to S.A.D was approved.
In 2004-05 season, CD Castellon played in Segunda División B finishing 4th. In the promotion playoff they won the two matches and were therefore promoted to the Second Division.
