[edit] Page moving

As annoying as it can be, you shouldn't move a page via copy and paste, as you did with Iván Kaviedes. This breaks the edit history and thus breaks the GNU licence under which all Wikipedia pages are released. In cases like this its more of a beuaraucratic rule following thing, but all the same it shouldn't be done (don't worry though; I made the same mistake myself when I first used Wikipedia!).

To move a page that is 'unmoveable' because a redirect or something blocks the move, propose it at Wikipedia:Requested moves. This allows an admin to move the page; on an uncontroversial move such as the one you did, this would happen within a couple of days. --Robdurbar 09:56, 3 June 2006 (UTC)
