CBR is a Canadian radio station, broadcasting at 1010 AM in Calgary, Alberta. It broadcasts the programming of the CBC Radio One network.

The station was launched in 1964. Calgary previously received CBC service from CBX's transmitter in Lacombe and from private affiliate CFAC 960. The call sign CBR was previously used by CBC Radio Vancouver from 1937 to 1951.
On March 16, 2006, the Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission (CRTC) approved an application by the station to implement a new FM transmitter in Calgary itself to simulcast the AM programming. This new FM signal, CBR-1-FM (99.1 MHz) was launched on November 28, 2006. [1] [2]
Various other AM and FM rebroadcasters have been installed throughout southern Alberta.
