[edit] How do I get my name to work in other languages?
I'd like to know how to contribute to French wikipedia, as well. I go there, and I'm no longer logged in.
- Unfortunately, you'll have to log in separately to the various language sites for a little while longer. Sorry. Xiner (talk, email) 05:14, 4 February 2007 (UTC)
Follow-up:
You have to have separate accounts on each separate language wikipedia (though you might be able to use the same user name if it's not already taken!). You have to register for the account name in each language, and you will also need to log in on each language individually - there's no cross-log-in.
Depending on your browser (i.e. Internet explorer; firefox) if you close the windows when going back and forth between the two languages, you can get logged off. I tend to do bunches of edits in separate languages if possible, rather than trying to go back and forth between the two (unless I'm translating to and from).
Hope that helps, if you have further questions (if I was close) just leave a note on my user page. If I was totally off base, put the helpme tag back on the page and another editor will check in. SkierRMH 05:16, 4 February 2007 (UTC)
- Thank you both for the help! I've gone ahead and done that.
