Cayuga's Waiters is the oldest all-male a cappella group at Cornell University. Formed in 1949 as a subset of the Cornell University Glee Club, the group disassociated from the Glee Club in 1956.[1] In addition to being an a cappella group, the Waiters host numerous parties and attend events throughout the year such as Victory Club.
[edit] Shows and tours
The Waiters travel around the country during school breaks, and have toured in places such as California, Florida, Puerto Rico, and Whistler, British Columbia. Recent performances include the national anthem at a Los Angeles Lakers and Denver Nuggets game and their traditional spring and fall concerts, which consistently sell out Cornell's largest auditoriums.
