The CAW Local 40 is a local union of the Canadian Auto Workers union (CAW). It represents 1400 members in manufacturing, hotel, textile, auto service, protection services, office and in the health care sectors. It is situated in Toronto, Canada.
Originally founded as the Canadian Textile and Chemical Union (CTCU) in 1952, in 1992 the CTCU joined with the CAW to form Local 40.
